I designed a typeface for a self-directed final project. Type design is complex and takes a long time. As it was my first experience in the area, I found the process interesting. I used my own process, without a great deal of knowledge on the intricacies. My teacher steered me in the right direction a few times. I ended up naming it after a language my sister and I made up when we were children.
